Max Velocity Tactical is making a slight course change, a consolidation, in the light of recent experiences. In quick summary of the most recent experiences:
1) Comments on this post are a good summary of the madness: ‘Philosophy: Rights & Anarchy’
2) The issues recently discovered with what I had considered ‘fellow trainers’, over underhand activities driven by ego, and attempts to get ahead in order to increase what they perceive as their own ‘market share.’
The focus of MVT has always been on providing high quality tactical training. It started with a notion to “keep good folks alive” by passing on information with the first edition of ‘Contact!’ It grew into the website, blog and forum, as well as the training school. I have been increasingly unhappy with my exposure to what may be described as ‘anarchist’ elements, who are most definitely not Patriots. Comments on the post linked above illustrate this well.
MVT is not part of a group of trainers, let alone dubious ones, and at this time is not associated with any. I am open to that changing in the future, but any association will be well vetted. MVT will continue to drive on, leading the way in the provision of combat proven tactical training for the armed civilian.
The mission of Max Velocity Tactical can be expressed as follows:
To provide high quality tactical training, primarily to armed civilians, in order to enhance their ability to survive life threatening situations.
We will continue to provide the high quality training classes that we offer, and continue to develop the school and class offerings as we move forwards.
I will remain available as a tactical consultant/adviser to organizations and individuals as requested.
There will be less blogging. No one is entitled to free information. In terms of tactical information, there are approaching 1000 articles on the blog, three books, the forum and the training classes available. Keeping articles going on the blog takes time and effort which could be better spent writing books and planning training. i.e. putting food on my kids table. I will post when I feel there is a topic I want to put out there.
The reduction in blogging will go hand in hand with less proactive re-posting on other sites. There are a significant number of the commentariat out there in the blogosphere who are not the audience I wish to be exposed to.
The strength of MVT has always been the high quality of the students it attracts and the alumni body we have developed. I started the school with fears over who may show up, and was pleasantly surprised. Professional, intelligent, socially competent Patriots, for the most part. The “good honest folks” who I had originally aimed my teachings at. So let’s keep it that way. I will focus on training alumni and those that hear of the school by word of mouth. Please pass the word around those good Patriots out there. I have no wish to see my training used by those who wish to see the end of the Republic. Know that I stand by Rightful Liberty and the United States Constitution. ‘Anarchists’ and ‘sovereigns’: I am not your guy.
There are far too many nut jobs out there, with their hair brained ‘political philosophies.’ One thing I have come to realize, is that in America, people will believe all kinds of crazy.
The MVT Rifleman Challenge will continue to run in the spring and fall. I remain open to these standards being spread as an identical, or similar challenge, in order to push a raising of standards across the armed civilian community. If you are an interested trainer, please contact me.
My aim is to continue to grow MVT organically. A simple short to medium term plan will be:
MVT is simply about high quality tactical training. That is it. I am not your guy. I seek to lead nothing, other than my own school. Keep your crazy paranoid theories to yourself. I don’t have an army, and I’m not coming for your Cheetos stash. MVT is not a political organization, nor are we aligned with any, or part of any ’cause’. We are simply Patriots, with a belief in the Republic, Rightful Liberty, and an oath of allegiance to the United States Constitution. Much of the training is aimed at a potential post-collapse situation, and giving folks the tools to stay alive in such a ‘without rule of law’ scenario. It is not my job to fix America or lead anyone. I am a naturalized citizen immigrant, and if you guys have let it get to this, what am I to do about it? I will simply work on helping those with the will to learn stay alive in the event that a reset does happen.
Running MVT is running a business. I also see comments such as complaints that I charge money for classes, as if those who are self proclaimed ‘threepers’ are somehow entitled to free training. It’s ‘for the cause’ don’t you know. No. Providing high quality tactical training requires resources and needs to be paid for. If you question that, I also question your views of what being an American is. The training is as discounted as I can make it. It is cheaper but higher quality than any ‘tacticool’ blue barrel training that I know of. If you don’t want to exchange goods for high quality training, then it is clearly not a priority to you, and please move on.
