In regards to this updated post: ‘III% Rifleman Combat Task Proficiency‘ I am going to run a qualification weekend in 2015, dates TBD.
A more detailed list of specific standards will be written to further define each task and standard. I am going to do this prior to the first III Rifleman qualification weekend sometime in 2015. This will be a mixed instruction and testing weekend, probably 3 days, that will include the following:
– PT Test
– Marksmanship test: rifle/handgun
– Navigation exercise
– Individual & Team tasks: SOP training & testing covering the remaining: SHOOT, MOVE, COMMUNICATE, FIGHT tasks.
– This will also include a combat lifesaver (TC3) training session.
Those that qualify will be awarded a certificate and III RIFLEMAN Patch.
More specifics to follow as this concept is developed.
This will create unity of standards and a patch that can be trusted. These III Rifleman patches, as I outlined in the original post, do not have to be awarded by Max Velocity Tactical. So long as standards are upheld, they can be tested and awarded by local III groups. I am simply going to implement a training and qualification weekend.
Better get training!
