As I go away for two weeks, I’ll just throw it out that there are some spots left on classes in August.
As of 1 September, the classes and prices do change, as per this post: ***New MVT Class Structure***. So August is the last chance at the current structure and prices.
August 2 – 6 is a combined class (5 day) with the optional, but strongly encouraged, TC3/RMP day beforehand. Becasue it is a combined class, you knock out the CRCD prerequisite for the Combat Patrol class.
August 30 – Sept 1 is a standalone Combat Patrol class, for which the prerequisite is CRCD, so alumni only. This is the Labor Day class.
I do notice that mid-summer is never as popular for training bookings, what with fears about the heat and summer vacations. I was not at capacity in August last year either. However, it is not as hot as you may think, because the training is under the canopy. You get some of the heat and humidity, yes, but not in direct sunlight and the heat under the trees is just not as bad. It is like night and day being in the class parking lot and then heading out to the tactical ranges under the canopy.
I am away for the next two weeks and my response may not be as fast as usual, but I will take bookings for these classes. A $200 deposit secures the class, non-refundable but transferable (unless I get an overbooking and then it is first come first served, determined by PayPal payment time/date, and I will return or move your deposit). If we are within 14 days of the class start date, I will need the full class fee.
