Ok, I’m loving this, I got my first ‘1 Star’ review on Amazon about ‘Patriot Dawn: The Resistance Rises’
Copied and Pasted:
Title of book should be “I hate progressives”
“Many progressives yearned for that [the death of america], so that the united socialist states of America could rise from the ashes”.
It’s just immature writing. I don’t care about left/right politics- I care about good/godawful writing.
I’d give the same critique if the authors bias was pro left, and he were to describe the right as “gun mongers, and psychopaths who secretly wish to shoot (fill in the blank ethic) people”.
Either view is a cartoon look at the other side. Neither is worth paying 8 bucks to read.
If you think james rawles is the best thing since sliced bread, you’ll love this book.
Otherwise, don’t bother with this one. Perhaps Max Velocity’s tactical books are worth reading- but with his lack of reality presented here, I’d go get information on how the world is modeled elsewhere.
To me, this is a massive endorsement by criticism. Whether this is a private individual, some progressive (who was not authorized to read the book anyway unless he wanted to wake up), or some troll agent looking to try and restrict the books circulation, it is an advertisement to any right-thinking Patriot.
Of course, he focuses on the prologue beyond which he probably did not read (I’ve had a small handful of Kindle returns) which sets the scene for collapse and civil war. No mention of the great story line or the realistic tactics!
However, if you have read the book, liked it, and not yet reviewed it, please consider taking the time to put a good review up on Amazon, to drown out reviews such as this one.
It’s all about getting the word out and putting these tactics within the grasp of ordinary Patriots.
